This was what was collectively bought. My stuff is top right; pink wallet and strawberry change purse thingie (not really quite sure what it is, lol! it was just cute!) I've wanted that wallet since it first came out...around valentine's day (of course) buuutt I already have a Coach wallet and i was hesitant to lay down $200 for another one.... so I waited. It was gone from the retail store but still on the website. Still...couldn't buy it. At the outlet...IT WAS JUUST MEANT TO BE!!!! There it was!!! for cheaper AND i got a 30% discount from store people... :D of course I caved and bought it. $91 instead of almost $200. yayyy.

It's one of those muggy, humid, thuderstorming-on-and-off spring days. Makes my internet slow :[ I hope that it doesn't go out while I'm trying to update here and print out readings for school D:

This weekend my girlfriend was here visiting :] She lives in PA, so we usually only get to see each other once a month because a) gas is expensive and b) she works the weekends and c) we're both busy with schoolwork during the school year. But she's on her last week of school for the semester, lucky her! I have three more weeks.

Anyway, we spent the weekend not doing much lol. We shopped at two different malls (involving a trip to the new Coach outlet around here!!), watched Burlesque, Beetlejuice, Adam, uhh...Sukiyaki Western Django (again, lol) and ate lots of candy!!! You can see what our two major past times are: spending money and watching movies xD I'll include pics from this weekend in another post.

I finally found an OPI Shatter!! yayayaya. I got the Essie on sale...buy one get TWO free (my girlfriend got the third one), and when in Ulta I accidentally stumbled upon the Urban Decay Naked Palette!!! YAYAYAYAYA. I went in to buy nailpolish, found that, ditched my planned buys and bought that lololol. soooo worth it though. I'm happy to finally have it :D





Sooo...story behind this... I pulled an allnighter...Tuesday going into Wednesday, writng an essay about a fucking Melville book (I do not like Melville) and uh, I actually finished around 3am, but I had to get up for work at 5:30am, so I figured I'd prolly feel like worse shit if I tried to sleep and had to wake up again so fast... so instead I dressed up for school which I'd have that evening. Lesson learned: dont ever pull allnighters. all day I felt like I was on drugs and couldn't focus and almost fell asleep driving (I couldnt remember getting to school!!!) It was bad...and I'd never drank so much coffee in one day, sheesh. Buy yeah... curled my hair in the morning and as you can see it was gone by 3pm when I changed for school. rawrrrr. so mad. but I needed the practice cos i can't curl hair lol.

better go focus on some reading and hw, since I just spent myself broke this weekend lol.

Normally my breakfast of choice is cereal because it's quick and yummy, but we have no good cereals :( So I made breakfast for my dad and I and there were just enough eggs left. But in retrospect not enough eggs as you can see, hahah. But it looks a lot healthier than cereal, right?

The weather is rainy and depressing today :( I planned to go to the library to work on schoolwork because there are less distractions than at home... but it's raining too hard and I'd rather not go outside. Hopefully, I get work done today at home. I offered to work a shift tomorrow, something I normally don't do but I could use the money. Which means I won't get my usual time to work on assignments, so my goal is to get my whole research/oral persentation done today!

End of semester is approaching... and I've been applying to more and more places in order to get a second job in the summer. I need to save up mone to pay for part of next semester. Goverment loans are only giving me about 4,000 a semester when I need another 1,600 per semester. :[ Why is school so expensivveee???? not only that, it kills you, as it is killing me this semester.

I dress up less because of it! That is why there are no outfit shots this week... didn't have time to dress gal or put much makeup on. Oh well, at least the weather was nice enough on Thursday that I could wear shorts :) Supposed to be warmer Tues through Thurs too... yay!

starting to feel like spring

It's 85 degrees F outside today!! My bedroom window's open and it feels wonderful :] Hard to believe it was 40 and rainy and windy a few days ago.

Two of my classes are canceled Tues and one on Thurs. It's nice to be able to sleep in and have more time to work when so much is due ;3;

Home life is really hectic and surreal right now. I can't believe these things happen and I wish people would get their shit together because selfishly, I refuse to change my life. ugh.

My blog entries are pretty unexciting. Same work and school, lol. I have no life!!! it's sad :[ I spent all weekend at the library doing homework, but at least I dressed up for it, hahaha.









ps: yes, I need to cut my bangs. Yes, my eyebrows are furry monsters that need to be tamed. I'm workin' on it lol

Yesterday I shopped when I shouldn’t have, but I guess that’s the story of every girl’s life, right? As I said yesterday I had planned on going to the mall after getting school work done…. I ate a yummy lunch at panera, picked up some makeup for my mom and was disappointed the MAC store was out of the Quite Cute lipstick I wanted :[ But I did accidentally find the cutest swimsuit ever while on my way to the bathroom:



I shouldn’t have spent the money, but I knew I’d regret it, really, really regret it. Plus now I finally have a swim suit! I can check if off of my summer gets list. Then meandering through Icing I found this super cute beret!



I’ve been so in love with hats as the days go by and keep telling myself I need more… This was only two dollars on sale so naturally I’d be a fool to say no. Weeks ago I saw something like this in Papaya, but passed it up. In the end, it kinda found its way back to me? XD

Helloooooo yumetenbo one piece!!!! It's sooo cute in person and really soft. I kinda guessed in sizes...since the only sizing related japanese characters I understand are bust/waist/hips and for this paticular garment nothing was listed... I got an L and it fits perfectly!! (I'm 34/27/35 btw) I love loose fitting tops and wearing them with tights so I'm actually wearing that one piece coordinated as I type this, lol.

I ordered this through the englih rakuten and WOW it came so fast!! I got my order confirmation 4/3 and another email 4/5. Then yesterday 4/8 I came home and voila! package waiting for me. :] I would not hesitate to order from them again, I just wish I knew japanese so I can understand sizes and stuff on the site better T3T

Other news, had some good and bad things happen at school this week. Lesson learned that I need to kick my ass and do my work. aahhhh school weighs me down so much, I'm not having fun in life anymore :[ During summer I'm taking a second job to hopefully raise funds for school... and hopefully I can win some scholarship money to help out as well, sighh... selfish, fashon pert of me wants money to spend on me, me, me!! lolol. Anyway, today I'm going to the library to hopefully do some serious studying/work without the distractions that home has... it better not be too crowded bleehh.

Library is right next to mall so maybe I stop in ehhhh, hohoho :3 I want to check my MAC store for the Quite Cute lipsticks... I had the chance to get them online, but the Quite Cute color, the light purple, didn't look as purple as the stock photos I saw before they were released and so I wanted to go see them in person.... now they sold out online and i hope my MAC store has the purple left... siiiigh. not that I should be spending money fffff.

where is my warm weather

I can't even begin to describe the boringness that is my life. All I do is school work, seriously. It's work, school, work, school, work, school, school. It's been really stressful, my first semester at a four year university. It's harder than what I've been used to, and it's reflecting in my grades. I'm only been getting Bs and it's killing me. I need to figure this stuff out so I can have a good gpa. However, there is the other side of me that is struggling to not kill myself so much over my grades. What will good grades get me once I'm out of school? I read once in a magazine that good grades won't matter in the real world, only the hardwork, presistance, and who you suck up to. Which, I can totally understand that. But right now good grades are for getting money for school. Why is it so expensive? Why is it so difficult to get money? Why can't I be less lazy? So many questions, so little answers.




I get less time to dress up for school. I can count the number of times I've worn heels to school on my fingers! Shocking, I was so into gyaru and dressing up last semester, but all this hard work has made it difficult for me to enjoy that aspect of my life. Then when I do dress up, I realize how much I've missed being able to go crazy with makeup, with clothes, with having fun in what I wear.

I can't wait for summer. Time to reorganize my life, think about what I want to go. To be able to take time off to relax, make more money. I'm thinking about taking on another part time job this summer for experience and cash. Where I work currently won't be able to give me full time status, and I want to try something new. I've always wanted to work in a clothing store or bookstore, and summer is the best time to do it. Since everyone always talks about retail sucking, if the second job sucks I'm quitting at the end of summer anyway. We will see, I haven't had the chance to job hunt yet. Anyway, here are some outfits. Maybe more tomorrow.

Since school started up I haven't dedicated much time to anything else but school. I'm taking fifteen credits versus the usual twelve credits i've taken a semester. Plus they're all upper level credits too so it's more work. (& I'm trying for exceptional grades!!) Being at a new school is still very scary. I'm getting better, but there's still a lot I don't know.

One day when i arrived at school my gas light went off. I was so thankful I had my gps with me or idk WHAT would've happened because idk the sketch area around the school D:

I haven't been dressing gal anymore either. I just don't feel motivateeddddd. I've been going simpler with makeup and clothes, concerning myself with more important things (school, money, etc lol)

snooooooooow day!!! Though I was crazy and went into work :p It was a chill, fool around, not busy at all day, so it was alright. My first day of classes for the spring semester were supposed to be today but the snow made that impossible.

About this outfit: Worn for my college orientation. I wanted something cute but casual. Therefore, I forwent heels and settled for flat boots. This was the day I previously spoke about in which I had an eyelash malfuntion and had to take my lashes out BEFORE MY ID PICTURE RAWRGGGG.

About this outfit: For going to the mall to meet a friend for lunch. First time wearing that cardigan I bought over winter break at h&m. I have trouble with this skirt because its a bit big and won't sit where I want it to, so I attempted to make it work by utilizing a waistbelt. I also had a malfunction that day... my contact wouldn't stop bothering me and I thought I could make it through lunch but on the way to the mall I had to stop, turn around, go home, take my contacts out and wear glasses THUS ruining my makeup. BAWWW

also note my new hair :] btw dying hair dark red = WASHES OUT SO MUCH. every wash the color runs :[

About this outfit: worn to meet up with my creative writing group. I wanted to wear red and somehow made it work. It was also 40 degrees F that day...pretty warm compared to the usual weather so I figured it'd be okay not to wear socks. I dont like wearing much makeup on my bottom lash because it causes so much trouble with my contacts.... so I smeared some brown eyeshadow and masacara on and hopefully it worked :]

Finally I kicked my ass to update!! ahhh I'm so bad at stuff like this. It's exactly how my livejournal died >_>

I have lots of outfit shots to update with from christmas/birthday/new years week. (ages ago, huh?) my life since then has been stressful and uneventful. stressful because I'm starting a new college at the end of January and I've been running around like a chicken with its head cut off to get everything submitted.

here's a bad story relating to college: orientation day (mandatory) I dress all nice, did my makeup...then EYELASH MALFUNCTION AHHHH. i was so upset :[ this happened even before I got my ID pic. so I had to take my eyelashes off and tough it out. thankfully people are too polite to make any comments about why my eyeliner is missing in places....

that aside, I'm both excited and nervous to start at a new school. It's big, very big, and further away than my community college I attended is. I'm still working out my schedule because tranfers are like freshmen, in that we get last pick of classes. UGHHH.

outside of school stress, I've spent my days working and working. on winter break there really isn't much to do besides work and be lazy. It's terribly cold outside, so I'm not tempted to go out. I purchased Fallout 3 and have been playing that.

basically I have not been very gal this month, but when there's nothing to really do I don't have reason to put on makeup and hot clothes. But I will leave you all with a coordinate back from December that I wore to a work party.

huu. i wish i knew a better way to reside my picturess. i fail at blogging baby >[ I hadn't worn that shirt in a while and I think that's how the outfit was built. I tried to combine sexy and cute with the black and the pink and white. Then I attempted to curl my hair to which I discovered that it definitly takes me longer than 45 mins to do (note to self) and realized I was running late. It's worse that I fail at curling hair. I started with using a straightener, gave up, then used a curling iron. Since i was late and hadn't finish, I put the unfinished half in a very 80s pony tail style, curled that super fast and voila.

It's funny that the side I rush on looks a million times better than the other side (the shit, deflated, fail side). as you can see in that first face shot. I think the pony tail made the one side look better. my hair is very thin and there's not a lot, so perhaps my problem is that I don't have thick enough hair/not enough hair to give me the volume I desire.

I've been wanting extensions, but since I dyed my hair recently I'm gonna have to hold out.

holidayssss

Just a post to let you all know I'm not dead! I'm away for the holidays at my girlfriend's, so I've been busy with relaxing and enjoying my time with her :]

Admittedly, it sucks when I'm away from my computer for so long because when I get back there are pages and pages of updates of all the sites and blogs I follow that ahhhhh it's a pain hahah. I do have access to a computer, but I don't have all my sites so I can't remember everything I need to check booooo :[

I can talk a little about my holiday so far and update with pictures and the rest when I'm home! :) First off, Christmas day was spent at my girl's (Heather is her name) aunt/uncle's place. I like spending Christmas with Heather because her family is close and have get togethers, whereas my family doesn't like each other and so I never see them. So if I am at home on Christmas there is nothing to do because I'm not seeing people and nothing is open.

There is always a bad side to being at Heather's because I'm not really part of their family so I'm still left out and I'm not a social person so it's difficult for me to hold conversation sometimes. Emily (a mutual friend but more Heather's than mine) was with us too, so the three of us made the best of it. We're kinda like the three musketeers, lol.

On Christmas Eve Heather, Emily, and Heather's parents, we all opened our presents for each other. I'll update with pics when I'm home, but we all had a ridiculous haul. Emily spent soooo much on Heather and I it was crazy. I DID get the Coach bag I've wantedddddd!

I saw Tron and the new Narnia movie this week as well. Narnia severely lacked in substance/plot stuff, but Ben Barnes is good eyecandy, hohoh. Tron's eyecandy was definitely Olivia Wilde and all the gorgeous Siren ladies!!! I had fun with the people I went with for both movies, so even if the movies would have totally sucked, I still woulda had awesome fun! (night of Tron we defaced a Justin Bieber cut out with fake mustaches LOL)

My BIRTHDAYYYYY was DECEMBER 29! I am twenty now and don't wanna grow up anymore wahhhhh. Heather and Emily took me out to Macaroni Grill. Mmm, I LOOOVE Italian fooood yum yum. I got a free chocolate cake slice and the Manager sang me a birthday song in Italian. Then we shopped till we dropped in our sexy dresses and heels at the mall that was right by. It's a biiiiig mall about 45 mins from where Heather lives.

Between all the previous activities and that shopping trip, my spending account now has $9 ;__; plus the extra cash I had brought ahhhh. I made a pact with Heather to try and shell out the extra money for better quality and it certainly takes its toll. I still shop some cheaper places (Charlotte Russe, for example) but I'm trying to go for higher quality.

Wow, I feel I've written way more than people care to read, lol. I leave for home on Sunday and I will be sad once this week is out. The time I get with Heather always goes by so fast. On the bright side, there is New Years yet and more fun times to be had! (Heather's mom and I picked up the alcohol today ;D)

Christmas is expensive!!! Next year, I swear I'm putting like a hundred dollar cap on presents. My girl, Heather, and our friend, Emily, bought me soo much!!! I know they do it 'cos they love me, but then I feel obligated to get them more and then feel bad when I can't afford it. :[

Speaking of school, I'm still waiting to hear from Sallie Mae about my loan stuff. There was a deadline of Dec 14 but Idk if that was to just start or to be done...idk. COLLEGE IS SO CONFUSING. it's all nonsense. very EXPENSIVE nonsense. ugh.

I don't really like those lashes for gal...but I don't just wanna toss'em out. So I gotta us'em up. I didn't wear bottom lashes either and just put mascara on my bottom lashes. I really want new bottom lashes. Recommendations???

Went out to a pub/restaurant with my friends from my creative writing class this past semester. It was fun! I usually don't make friends in a class, but I got super lucky! Especially 'cos I love writing :] We proposed to have our own writing "group" and meet each week and make "assignments" to complete. This is me being a nerd but SO MUCH FUUUUN.

I feel there is a biased againest fashionable/pretty/self-coucious girls/boys/people when it comes to their intellect. It's like the dumb blonde stereotype. For example, on the hotmail news feed there was an update about Pamela Anderson being on Playboy cover and how she penned some poetry in whatever article she had. Most people (or everyone) will be thinkng "HAHAHA. there's no WAY she could write poetry!!!" I can't speak for Pamela, but who really knows right??? Never underestimate a person's intelligence. Never assume!!! (you know that saying???)

I love writing. I write creatively everyday or every other day. I'm constantly reading a book. Currently, I'm rereading American Gods by Neil Gaiman, btw. READ THAT BOOK. or in fact, READ ANYTHING BY NEIL GAIMAN. I could probably dedicate a whole blog to books, lol. I may like fashion and dressing up, but I could live without it. because, I don't always dress up. But I CAN'T live without words...books...writing...any of that!!

I really digressed from outfit to rant/writing, but when I say I write creatively (and pretty well, I think) I wonder if people blow that off because on the surface I'm so self-councious and paticular about my appearence.

Worst yet because its a group project with people who don't know wtf they're doing and we also have to present to the class. ahhhhhhhhhhh. It will definitly be a day that I wish I could press the fast forward button on life.

It's gotten very cold, very fast! As soon as December hit--BAM--winter time! It's 20-30 degrees F typically now... It's been even flurrying every other day too. Granted, I imagine this cold may not compare to the cold of northern European countries (cos I know a lot of gals are from those areas...) but for here it's frigid, lol. Normally real cold doesn't come to Maryland until late January. Last winter we got blizzards all on the east coast of the US. SO MUCH SNOW!!! I was snowed in for so long I was getting cabin fever, man lol. And I missed a lot of work which sucks for my bank account :[ I hope that much snow never happens here again.

I am basically done for the semester. I have a project due next Monday, but it's nothing to cry about. Hopefully I will blog more. Hopefully, I will read that stack of books I have. Hopefully, I will watch all the shows I need to. Hopefully I will do a lot of things, lol. I'm rereading American Gods (By Neil Gaiman) now. I can't get over how amazing that book us. jdaskloooove

In other news my laptop got infected with that system file malware D: I have a friend who's going to look at it tomorrow so hopefully she'll know how to fix it. Now I'm using my dad's laptop.... first he yelled and lectured me, then he storms into my room and sits his laptop on my bed and walks out. WTF. regardless, I WANT MY STUFFFF. Thankfully I have an external harddrive to save all my writing on. PHEW
